Chicago Fire Soccer Club is a professional American soccer club. It plays in Major League Soccer (MLS). Established in 1997, the club is named for the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. In its first league season in 1998, the club won the MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup. It also won U.S. Open Cups in 2000, 2003, and 2006.

The club’s official colors are white and red. Its logo got inspiration from the standard shape of a fire department’s emblem. Its present logo features a stylized “C”, representing Chicago, at its heart. The club plays its home competitions at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.
